When is Lego not a hit?

Whilst looking for top gift ideas for kids we naturally started our search in Hamleys, the station's very own toy chest. This Christmas give your young witch or wizard the ride of their life aboard the Harry Potter LEGO Knight Bus. When kids catch the purple triple-decker bus, they know they're in for a wild ride back to Hogwarts.

Visit the Station's Book Cave

We dropped into the station's book cave - Hatchards, to see what's new in the world of children's books this Christmas. Let us tell you, the store is full of cracking titles for kids both new and old!

You may know author and former junior doctor Adam Kay from his bestseller This is Going to Hurt, well he's recently published Kay's Anatomy a hilarious and deliciously disgusting tour of our insides for younger readers, a book that Jacqueline Wilson describes as 'Totally Brilliant!'.

You can't go wrong with a paperback by David Walliams, who has firmly established himself as bestselling children's author. Find some of Walliams' best-loved editions in our Hatchards store, one of our absolute favourites is Billionaire Boy - illustrated by the superb Tony Ross.

Cosy stocking fillers

Cosy new woolly hats, gloves, scarfs and slippers have become a Christmas stocking staple. If you're looking for something cosy to surprise the littluns with then our Joules has got you covered - we especially like the dog prints.

Christmas with Elsa and Anna

We spotted these Elsa and Anna dolls in our Hamleys store who reliably inform us that Frozen 2 is a firm favourite this year amongst the Disney princesses!

Lucky Penny

This is one penny that probably wouldn't fit in the piggy bank... The station's Fortnum & Mason is a treasure trove of great Christmas delights and it was hard to miss these 90g chocolate lucky pennies - perfect for the kids.
