Tom Grennan surprises commuters at St. Pancras International with performance of Amazon Music Original ‘It Can’t Be Christmas’

Today, BRIT and Ivor Novello nominee Tom Grennan surprised onlookers at St. Pancras International station with a piano performance of his new single, “It Can’t Be Christmas (Amazon Music Original)”.

Tom brought the holiday cheer with a captivating performance of his brand-new Christmas track, "It Can’t Be Christmas (Amazon Music Original)", alongside some of his most popular hits.

Tom Grennan is one of UK music’s most exciting talents, and the new single is the latest chapter in the story of the multi-platinum-selling artist who’s already picked up multiple BRIT and Ivor Novello nominations and an MTV Award for Best UK Act, along with countless airplay smashes and a rise to arena-selling, festival headliner status.

The single, “It Can’t Be Christmas (Amazon Music Original)” has become an instant Christmas classic. The Amazon Music Original song is the latest release in a growing list of holiday tunes released exclusively on Amazon Music, including previous tracks from global superstars like Taylor Swift's "Christmas Tree Farm," Katy Perry's platinum-certified "Cozy Little Christmas," John Legend's gold-certified "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," and Sam Ryder’s “You’re Christmas to Me”, which hit #2 on the UK Official Singles Chart last year. With many more exclusive hits, Amazon Music is the ultimate destination for holiday music. “It Can’t Be Christmas (Amazon Music Original)” is available to stream exclusively on Amazon Music here.

Amazon Music has also collaborated with Tom to create a limited-edition festive merchandise range and vinyl of his Amazon Music Original. The limited-edition collection is available now and features three designs, in six colours, across t-shirts, tank tops and hoodies with prices starting from £22. The vinyl can be pre-ordered now, before its official release on 20th December. All items can be ordered here.

In performing at the St. Pancras station piano, Tom followed in the footsteps of GRAMMY award winners Alicia Keys and Norah Jones, and dynamic duo Rod Stewart and Jools Holland, who previously performed at St. Pancras International. Other world-class performers to have graced the famous piano include internationally acclaimed music giants Elton John and John Legend.

The public delights in the playing of the pianos at St. Pancras International, which have become an iconic part of the station’s atmosphere and culture. The pianos were launched at St. Pancras International in 2012 when the City of London Festival celebrated its golden anniversary on a grand scale, and have remained available to play ever since. Most recently, a new Yamaha was generously donated by Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals.
