St. Pancreas supports Pancreatic Cancer UK

It's Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month so we've teamed up with Pancreatic Cancer UK for the sixth year running to help raise awareness of the disease.

Pancreatic cancer is a disease that gets too little attention, too little funding, and too many lives have been lost. It’s up to all of us to speak up, so we’re showing our support by changing our name to St PancrEas as well has hosting some very special announcements and a choir performance.

No one likes delays. But when you have the quickest killing cancer, every second counts. For people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer there's no time to wait.

Raising Awareness...

If you were walking through St Pancreas today and thought the voice of the station announcements had changed... you were not wrong! We were delighted to welcome Ruby Wax to read our announcements and help raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer.

It’s the not the first time Ruby Wax has lent her support to raising awareness of Pancreatic Cancer. Listen to find out how she’s been raising her voice on behalf of those lost to the deadliest common cancer.

Between 5pm - 7pm this evening, we will be hosting the fabulous Pop choir! Stop by to enjoy the music, talk to PCUK volunteers and if you can, support Pancreatic Cancer UK by making a donation as you pass through the station.

No Time To Wait
