Iwan Thomas Surprises Grief Encounter Choir Live on GMB

Whilst singing Christmas carols at St. Pancras, the fantastic Grief Encounter children's choir is surprised live on Good Morning Britain by Olympian, Iwan Thomas, who interrupts their singing to tell them that they are heading off on the Eurostar to visit Disneyland Paris.

Losing a loved one is a terrible time for anyone, more so for a child coming to terms with a loss. Grief Encounter is a child bereavement charity dedicated to help ease the pain caused by the death of someone close, the charity helps families address a multitude of challenging issues following a death of a loved one, alleviating the hurt and confusion caused, whilst promoting healing.

 

The announcement was broadcast live on ITV's Good Morning Britain, and was part of their #1MillionMinutes campaign, an initiative that aims to raise awareness of loneliness in the UK through volunteering.
