Cleaning and Station Safety
Our dedicated cleaning teams have increased their rounds of the station and we're the first train station in the world to launch state-of-the-art cleaning robots to help eradicate viruses throughout the station’s concourse and facilities. Apollo uses UV-C light rays to kill 99.9999% of viruses and bacteria including COVID-19 on all surfaces and in the air surrounding it in a matter of minutes, whilst Misty cleans and disinfects surfaces simultaneously with an automated scrubber dryer.
St. Pancras International is part of the Secure Station Scheme, which means the station meets prescribed safety standards set by the British Transport Police and the Department for Transport. These include CCTV coverage, safe zones, help points and enhanced lighting. You can visit our Safety & Security page for more.
