Summer Menswear Edit

Whilst loungewear joggers and comfy sweaters still hold a place in our heart, as we slowly come out of lockdown it's time to reassess the wardrobe. Here's a curated edit of some of our favourite seasonal menswear looks from some of the station's fashion brands.

Printed Short Sleeved Shirts

One thing's for sure, post-lockdown summer 2021 collections are all about championing bold, brave colours and prints.

This short sleeved shirt from Ted Baker is a case in point; best paired with a simple pair of plain chinos, you don't have to be holidaying on the Italian Amalfi coast to make this look work.

Another one of our favourites from Ted Baker is this orange and blue floral shirt which is guaranteed to brighten up your summer BBQ attire.

If your looking for printed shirts then our Ted Baker is a great place to go; the station's GANT and FatFace also have great ranges of bold prints.

Keeping the chill off

The Great British Summer isn't without those breezy days, which is fortunate because we just love this season's GANT jumpers.

This Rough Weather GANT jumper is a preppy patchwork of colours which is just perfect for taking the chill out of the air.

For a slightly more sporty casual look, then this yellow and white zip collar pullover will keep you warm on a breezy day out at the beach.

For a casual understated look, this Arlie Block Stripe sweater from FatFace is just the ticket. It's an old favourite but a new design made with hard-wearing pique cotton and looks great with your favourite pair of jeans.

The art of the 'smart casual'

As expected, we're all looking for outfits that serve casual looks but can also be smartened-up for those days back in the office or work Zoom calls.

A blazer always has your back! Throw this Ted Baker linen blend Yucca blazer over a t-shirt and et voila you have yourself a dapper work-friendly outfit.

Are they plimsolls? Are they smart lace-ups? Speaking figuratively the Tyrone trainer from Dune London just doesn't want to be put into a box, making it an excellent staple to your new smart casual look.

If you're thinking about going back into the office but dusting off the suit and tie look doesn't sound all that appealing, then choose something simple. This simple navy striped short sleeved shirt from Ted Baker cruises that smart vs casual line perfectly.

Flannel shirts don't have to be check! Compliment this FatFace plain regular fit flannel with a pair of freshly ironed chinos and some Dune London Tyrone trainers and you have yourself another outfit that looks great whatever the situation.

It's not summer-time without a spot of rain

It's true, it pays to be prepared for spells of rain. Why not prepare yourself in style?

This yellow parka from GANT is a versatile four-pocket jacket that's water-resistant and tailor-made for transitional weather...

If the yellow doesn't float your boat then GANT also have this trendy orange and tan windbreaker in stock.
