St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys pops the bottles ahead of a major refurbishment

Champagne will be flowing as Europe’s longest Champagne Bar and London’s iconic destination at St Pancras International pops the corks off its extensive collection ahead of its refurbishment plans. St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys is set to temporarily close its doors on Saturday 25th June for an extensive makeover over the summer and, as a send-off to the old bar, guests are invited to run the bar dry.

On 24th-25th June, champagne will be flowing with mystery bottles to be revealed for guests to enjoy, all priced at £71, no matter the bottle. Bubbles to look out for include Drappier, Veuve Clicquot and Lanson, plus Searcys own Selected Cuveé Brut.

In addition, the bar will be serving up a menu of Searcys favourites, running from small plates and sliders to mains of Sweet pea and broad bean risotto with confit tomato and Searcys signature Creedy Carver chicken pie with tarragon. There will also be sharing plates of Artisan British cheeses or Charcuterie to pair with drinks.

Set to reopen in early September 2022, the Champagne bar will undergo a complete transformation. This will include an updated and modernised bar area that puts the spotlight on the extensive champagne range of bottles and magnums, along with reconfiguring the bar wings with plush booths, marble topped tables and a new seafood bar. Champagne lovers rejoice as the bar’s iconic ‘Press for Champagne’ buzzers will remain.

Final glasses of Champagne will be poured on Saturday 25th June, with the grand unveiling of the new space set for early September.

The art-deco St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys will remain open throughout the summer, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, alongside the signature Staycation Afternoon Tea, with additional outside seating alongside the Brasserie.
