This is the latest news from St Pancras International…
Wednesday 12 April 2017
Following on the success of the St Pancras International pianos, famously played by Elton John and John Legend, there is now a piano gracing Stratford International with its presence as part of Southeastern’s surprise and delight for commuters.
The piano was donated to the station by Catherine Lett, whose family owned the piano for 35 years, because she wanted to give it a new lease of life and continue to give pleasure to others. The piano has been fully refurbished, painted in Stratford’s red and retuned by Richard Lewis (the only piano tuner on the books of any UK railway company!)
The piano is open to the public, so make sure you have a go next time you’re in the station!
