Let’s Talk Coffee!

With many of our favourite coffee shops temporarily closed and lots of us staying at home right now, we thought we’d put together some tips we’ve picked up from some of the station’s coffee and foodie shops to give you a little home brewed inspiration.

Making great home brewed coffee with AMT Coffee

Emma from AMT Coffee shows us how to make rich home brewed coffee using some freshly ground coffee beans and a cafetière. If you choose to grind the beans yourself, unlike an espresso the granules for the cafetière need to be course and left to brew for around 4 minutes.

Creating foamy milk without a milk frother…

Recently Starbucks been posting some really useful coffee making tips on Facebook and Instagram to help us make the most of our coffee breaks at home, we’d recommend giving them a follow if you don’t already…

One of our favourites of Starbucks’ recent series of tips is how to make frothy milk, because let’s face it, how many of us have a milk frother at home? It’s super simple; you just need to heat up some milk, pop it into a heat proof container with a lid (a flask will do nicely!), and shake well for 30 seconds before pouring over your coffee.
