Laura Ellen Anderson Launches Latest Amelia Fang Book at Hatchards
For parents running out of ideas to keep the little ones entertained during the October half term, the station had a treat in store as best-selling children's author, Laura Ellen Anderson, hosted an exclusive and spooky takeover of our bookstore, Hatchards.
Perfectly suited for 7-9-year olds, Anderson, author of the celebrated Amelia Fang book series, read snippets from the latest instalment, Amelia Fang and the Lost Yeti Treasure. The reading, which was free to attend, took place on Thursday 31st October helped get youngsters in the mood for an evening of Trick-or-Treating.
After the readings, Amelia Fang fans were invited to meet Laura for a book signing... or doodle! They also had a chance to take the spinning-wheel challenge to win their very own Yumkin.
