Free, Fun & Festive Things To Do At St. Pancras

From the excitement of travelling somewhere new to our association with art and music, St Pancras is a unique spot amongst London's destinations - and you can enjoy it without spending a penny!

With the countdown to Christmas swiftly on it's way, here are some ideas on free things you can do at St. Pancras this Christmas, whether you are an Elf in the making or feeling a bit more 'Bah, Humbug'.

Visit Our Christmas Tree And Spy The Twelve Days Of Christmas

Set in the heart of the Main Arcade, reaching up past the Grand Terrance, you will find our 2022 Christmas Tree in partnership with The Prince's Trust. The 33ft tree takes inspiration from the London skyline, featuring terrace houses, church yards, ferris wheels, bridges, skyscrapers, towers and monuments.

For a different view, go upstairs to Searcy's St Pancras, Europe's longest champagne bar and enjoy a different perspective - you might even see Santa!

In a nod to the Twelve Days of Christmas, look out for Maids a-milking, French hens and plenty of Lords a-leaping! Yes, gifts from The Twelve Days of Christmas are in the tree - can you spot them all?

Remember to tag @stpancrasinternational if you post any photos on social media so we can share the love with followers!

Treat Passers By To Some Festive Classics

Over recent years St. Pancras has become one of London’s hotspots for public music; being home to two public pianos, the station attracts many amateurs, professionals and celebrities to play the keys - most recently Tom Odell!

Whether you fancy yourself the next Beethoven or you haven’t got a musical bone in your body, our pianos are free to use by the public so you can treat passers-by to your favourite festive tune.

Admire the Art

Paul Day's The Meeting Place statue is one of St. Pancras' most photographed features. Commonly known as the Kissing Statue, the 9m high bronze sculpture is of a couple's loving embrace under the station's iconic train shed roof and Tracey Emin’s 'I Want My Time With You'.

Our most recent art Installation 'HMS Alice Liddell' can be found in the Circle Area of the station, suspended mid-air! The artwork reflects elements of Barlow’s engineering of the station, as well as the gothic spires of the now St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. Find out more here!

Get working on your Christmas Wishlist

Who doesn't love browsing festive window displays and products? At Christmas you have the perfect excuse to do so while you help friends and family out with gifting suggestions! With a plethora of stores throughout St. Pancras, you will have a variety of styles, colours and products to browse.

We have recently welcomed Swarovski to pop up in St. Pancras over Christmas and they have some stunning products including Christmas baubles and jewellery, all worth a glimpse!
