Eurostar Turns 25

14 November 2019 is a very special day for Eurostar, it's their 25th birthday!

Thanks to a revolutionary feat of engineering achieved by 13,000 workers, the Channel Tunnel (the longest undersea tunnel in the world) was opened in 1994. Since then Eurostar have carried over 200 million passengers and counting, connecting people from the UK to mainland Europe, and vice versa.

Today also marks 12 years since Eurostar relocated to St. Pancras International, using the High Speed 1 route linking London to the Channel Tunnel.

Eurostar are doing lots to celebrate this very special anniversary; of course, no celebration is complete without a cake...
