4. Fresh Florals from L.K.Bennett

This winter seems to have been a long one - we just can't wait to ditch those thick cable knits in favour of some cooler spring editions. 

For mums in need of a little wardrobe freshen up, we'd suggest some florals. When looking for floral prints this spring, look no further than L.K.Bennett; the station's shop is well stocked with a plethora of pretty flowery designs ready and waiting to lend a playful touch to mum's wardrobe.

5. A Good Read from Hatchards

Picking your next read is a particularly personal decision, that's why we suggest spending some time to browse the station's book cave, Hatchards. A good idea would be to speak to one of our friendly booksellers to get some inspiration. 

If you need a little extra guidance in finding mum a cracking good read, we would absolutely recommend Cho Nam-Joo's International Bestseller, Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982. It's a powerful novel that shines a bright light on misogyny; describing the daily injustices and realities of being a woman in South Korea.

In an Instagram post the Hatchards St. Pancras team called this book 'compulsively readable'... They should know, they're the experts!  

6. Visit Neuhaus for the chocoholic 

Chocolates have become classic pressies for Valentine's, Mother's Day and Easter for years. If the gift of chocolates is on the cards for Mother's Day this year, then be sure to visit the connoisseurs. 

Neuhaus have a long history and are specialists in making authentic Belgian chocolate, they actually invented the original Belgian chocolate praline... you're in safe, albeit chocolatey hands.

7. Chic tote from Cath Kidston

We were spoilt for choice in our Cath Kidston, there's plenty of Mother's Day goodies to choose from, however, this simple Love tote bag caught our eye. It's roomy with long straps for easy carrying and it has a handy inner hanging pocket.

The perfect holdall to sling over one shoulder for a wander around town.

8. Katie Hoxton pouches from John Lewis & Partners

As always, John Lewis & Partners is always a good spot for any seasonal gifts. The station's shop have a new range of clutch bags and pouches by Katie Hoxton, a fashion and lifestyle brand which, since its launch in 2015, has become known for stylish everyday accessories full of charm. 

We particularly liked the range of cute pouches and the dusty pink collection gives an additional seasonal feel. Each piece has a fun-loving golden sentiment to help inspire everyday. These can be used as a stylish clutch to compliment an outfit or a perfect little life organiser for everyday. A great find for Mother's Day.  

9. Olivia Multi Spot Shirt from FatFace

This classic shirt is a real staple with a very subtle, but welcome twist. 

Look closely and you'll see that that the spots are a nice mix of red and blue. It's a versatile everyday shirt which can be dressed up or down; straighter through the body with a flattering curved hem means it's a comfy fit. Great for those relaxed spring days.

10. Mother's Day Tea from Fortnum's 

The perfect gift for the tea lover; Fortnum's Mother’s Day Tea is a new speciality blend of black tea with delicate rose and bergamot; it combines the fragrant tones of Earl Grey with the sweet scent of rose. Delicious!

Best enjoyed at any time of day but we'd definitely recommend complimenting this with Fortnum's Afternoon Tea biscuits.
