Christmas comes to St. Pancras

St. Pancras International has partnered up with Tiffany & Co. to unveil its first scented Christmas tree and fragrance shop in the heart of the station's Arcade, offering a touch of sparkle, sophistication and magic for the holiday season.

The magnificent 43-foot Tiffany tree has over 1,800 decorations and embodies the brilliance and modern creativity of the legend that is Tiffany & Co.

The sparkling floral scent of Tiffany's Signature Eau de Parfum fragrance will be diffused from the tree at key intervals each day, creating a unique immersive sensorial experience for holiday shoppers.

Lauren Child Poetry Illustration Prize; Winners Announced

2018 marks the first year of The Lauren Child Poetry Illustration Prize which is in collaboration between House of Illustration, St Pancras International, Betjeman Poetry Prize and 2017-2019 Children’s Laureate Lauren Child.

The competition is judged by Lauren Child, poet and artists Imtiaz Dharker and House of Illustration Director Colin McKenzi, here's a list of the 10 winners of the competition's opening year:

More about the competition

The International illustration competition is for artists at the beginning of their career, aged 18 – 25. Artists are asked to choose and illustrate one poem from a selection of ten Betjeman Poetry Prize winning poems by young poets aged 10-13 and the winner receives £1,000.

Transform your commute in to a cultural talking point by viewing this years poems and illustrations featured on the exhibition panels found on the St. Pancras' Grand Terrace, next to the East Midlands Railway departures until 3rd January 2019. St. Pancras' War Memorial is Unveiled

On its 150th anniversary and the centenary of the end of World War I, St. Pancras International unveiled on 8th November 2018, a permanent war memorial created by artist and writer Fabian Peake which reflects on the lives of those who fought and died serving in the armed forces as well as civilians.

The memorial was commissioned by HS1, Bechtel, East Midlands Trains, Eurostar, Govia Thames Link, Manhatten Loft Corporation, Network Rail, South Eastern and UK Power Network Services.
