About High Speed 1

High Speed 1 was delivered to the nation on 6th November 2007 and remains Britain's only high speed railway, spanning 109km with 4 International Stations along the route. The railway itself has an exemplary safety and security record, redefining standards in performance. Our infrastructure has been available every day and the delay of train departures is measured in single seconds.

The route and all the stations along the route are owned by HS1 Limited: Network Rail (HS) operate the route, St Pancras International, Stratford International and Ebbsfleet Interntional on behalf of HS1 Limited.
