St Pancras International voted UK's Best Station
St Pancras International topped the Passenger Focus 'National Passenger Survey' as 'Best Station' in results published today (26 Jan). 95% of those passengers surveyed said station facilities were satisfactory or above.
Looking at station facilities the top five station ranked as follows:
1. St Pancras International - 95%
2. Glasgow Central - 92%
3. Liverpool Lime Street - 91%
4. London Fenchurch Street - 91%
5. Manchester Piccadilly - 89%
This is the second year in a row that St Pancras International has topped this particular survey.
A spokesperson for HS1 Ltd, which owns St Pancras International, said:
"The Passenger Focus survey is the most comprehensive and detailed survey of its kind. For us to come top again is a great tribute to the vision, hard work and dedication not only of the team at High Speed 1 but our partners as well.
"We are already preparing to play our part in what will be an incredibly busy year and we look forward to welcoming the thousands and thousands of visitors who will come to our stations during the London Olympics."
